Salamanca is a Prussian steam locomotive (steam locomotive) from 1816, manufactured for the steelworks in today's Chorzów. The machine was a license-free copy of the locomotive of the same name constructed by Matthew Murray in 1812 at Fenton, Murray nad Wood for the merger of Leeds and Middleton. Interestingly, the British company named its steam locomotive in honor of the victory of Fr. Wellington taken over the French in 1812 just near Salamanca. A Prussian copy of the British locomotive was built at the Konigliche Eisengiesserei plant in Berlin by Eng. Krigar. Thus, it became the first steam locomotive in continental Europe! The locomotive had a cast boiler covered with wood, which suppressed the noise of the engine, fired with coal. It had a weight of 5 tons and could accelerate to 16 km / h, while it could pull a train weighing up to 100 tons at a speed of only 5 km / h. It is worth adding that the complete technical documentation of this locomotive, which was lost during the Spring of Nations in 1848-1849, has not been preserved until now.

The models are digitally printed - some adhesives can dissolve the ink!

Paint in digital printing can be dissolved by certain types of adhesives like butaprene and similar on the same solvents. Before bonding, it is advisable to try the adhesive used on a barely visible part of the model.
